Dawn of War: Professional (DoWPro) is a gameplay and balance mod for Dawn of War, which strives to bring a whole new depth to the multiplayer experience.
The front end model has yet to be finished. Needs to be rescaled to make it fit with the other races' models.
And yes, she is fully implemented, with new wargear options and repurpussed (without touching anything from the model, btw).
Haters will still be hatin'.
Yayyy an update. I like it a LOT even i dont play SOB, but i just dont like turret in SOB they are.......i dont want to insult anybody.Just Is there anyway to get old back in the game. i like the way the fire FIREs in old one. circle is for me litle odd. any way THIS mod is TOP.
GL in next update :D
The turret has been nerfed - it has less range (18 in comparisson to 3.59.55 which was 20), has an accuracy nerf but still can shoot 360 degrees.
It is a fair change so you can still harass the race conveniently.
aaaaaa, but, can I ask you how to replace the entire model whit the old one whitout changing its status. is it hard im noob at modeling and soo on. in fact i never do any modeling :I. "http://www.moddb.com/members/warmir/images/sob-turret" This one looks 100% better then one that shoot 360 degrees in all directions. tnx for repaly
Just grab corsix mod studio and replace the entity blueprint (ebp) from the model for the vanilla one. Easy-peasy.
Is it fully TC? Or is this the TC version that I made?
is this the TC version I gave warsmith? anyway... here's a preview of other units:
She is fully TC, yet it is not your version.
what about the golden bits? they look non-TC
Hmmm true that, then again I just think about SoB as some kind of "Holy Golden militant army", I dont see the golden bits to be necessary TC, if you ask me.
But here we go again, opinions.
Are you actually allowed to show this? I thought this was protected.
But man, its been a while since I see anyone this good looking in the game besides Nurgle XD
I wasn't aware that any of the original developers were still around the community - how on Earth did you manage to obtain the permissions at all?
This comes out back from where Korbah helped KRMZ and Friedric_P in gameplay decissions and balance.
The idea was that Korbah could give the source of the FSR from the IG to implement it for SoB as the Faith resource. Unfortunately, the WH mod team didnt include it in the version they had planned (there is one in private, but yet it didnt use the Faith resource fully). Aside of that, he gave complete advise about what could work.
Both teams managed to reach to a *tough* deal involving the utilisation of their resources. Manipulating any of these things would involve a monetary penalty.
Ahh, I understand. Quite the tough agreement indeed.
I apologise for my bluntness there, when I saw that a mod had obtained permissions to use AS models I got excited and jumped to the conclusion that the original devs were available to contact again in the community.
And while I'm at it, I must say you did an excellent job at implementing the faith system to the new assets - in particular the ability to cut down a setup time in a heavy weapons team is a delicious practical ability!
Thanks for playing and rating the mod by the way - really apreciate it.
Yeah, the deal is a tough one, specially when you get the "do not put all the assets of the mod", thats why you can see that some units didnt make it - that might change however, but not for the most part.
SoB might still need a lot of work, however compared to their previous version they are a bit less broken and less buggy.
Oh yes, less buggy and far more...distinct from the other races. Vanilla sisters don't really interest me that much as they just don't seem to offer anything particularly unique - except maybe seraphims and inferno pistols. The DOW pro sisters definitely stand out from the roster I would say.
And my pleasure, mate.
Sexy O.O look at this...chest armour...
