DOOM:ONE is a new look on the classic first game DooM. Imagine, a game full of surprises, new secrets, and one continuous, fluid DooM. No loading screens, No waiting betweens levels... No breaks in the action. That is the aim of DOOM:ONE. I am working on a beta release version of the complete game. The 2nd version is available, which explains what I am trying to achieve here better than I ever could!!! I have found its best to play this with the Brutal Doom mod installed, however it is not required. This will be released as a PWAD that will work with GZDooM and Zandronum, due to the scripting involved in tying everything together. Please feel free to leave any comments or suggestions below!
THIS IS THE FULL DOOM:ONE BETA First Things First, A few points to clear up. This mod does not give iron sights, All textures are at standard definition, the high def ones are a separate mod I play with. When recording the full test video, I was playing Brutal Doom, amongst other mods. Ok... now thats out of the way, here is the open beta of DOOM:ONE. The purpose of this mod is to take the episode of Knee Deep in the Dead, and merge it into one seamless, transition free episode. complete with some new areas and secrets to find.
Not much more else I can say on the mod than is in the summary, again I apologise for any confusion that may have been caused by the video that was featured on Kotaku, I have emailed the author regarding this.

Requires - Zandronum or Zdoom, a copy of the licensed doom.wad from The Ultimate Doom.
This is a bit earlier than I wanted to release an open beta. Nonetheless the response from the community deserves and answer, and I would like to prove this is not a collection of existing mods, and concentrate more on what I am trying to achieve with the seamless episode!!
