A certain unscrupulous Stalker stole an artifact from the Zone, which falls into the hands of the Russian authorities and is transferred to scientists in a secret laboratory in the closed-off city of Lermontov, located at the officially mothballed uranium mining and processing plant, near Mount Beshtau...
After some time, strange things began to happen in the laboratory - the psychological situation became tense, people began to die. Events unfolded like a spring's tension be released; on August 1st, 2009, an explosion suddenly occurs at the plant, radiation is spewed out and from that moment on, all reliable information disappears.
It is only known, thanks to the intelligence of stalkers, that the villages nearby the plant survived, but were immediately cordoned off by the military in a tight ring, completely blocking the territory off. But some time later, strange and terrible things began to happen to people, both to the villagers and to the soldiers. What happened there is unknown, but an order was immediately received to raze the villages to the ground.
What happens in the nearby cities located even closer to the explosion - Zheleznovodsk, Pyatigorsk, Yessentuki, Mineralnye Vody - is unknown. We find ourselves in Kislovodsk, 30 km from the epicenter of the explosion.
Additional military forces and scientists have been deployed in to the city. Part of the population was evacuated and after a while, they cordoned off the city with the remaining residents still inside. A quarantine has been introduced. Authorities report that the consequences of the explosion are under control, there is no radiation. But it is not reported what is happening in the settlements directly near the plant...
The main task is to get out of the city and understand what really happened...

This mod is very interesting, the maps are very neat and the quests are pretty cool. Would recommend, even if the mod can be a bit confusing at times. A translated PDA map and readme are present in the mod's folder. Special thanks to CarlKuwait.

Hi Creator!! I´d love to play your mod but I can not make it work. I put the content of the zip. file in a copy of Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl overwriting the existing files but I does not work. What I am doing wrong? Cheers mate and thanks for the hard work!!
this actually is standalone, but you got to find the exe in the bin folder to start.
Well ... I got caught up on the first mission. I found "Old One" and he tells me to go to the market to see for his friend, but I can't understand what the mission is, in the help in English he says that I should find a gun in the market, but I can't find it. Is there a video or screenshot of the place? The map is very confusing and it is in Russian
You have a translated version of the map in the game's folder. You need to go to the market area of the map, it's up the road to the right of the staircase down into Old One's gaff.

Is this mod compatible with Complete mod?

So how to install the mod?
Game was paying fine but then started crashing every time I transition between areas.Log file seamed to indicate graphics detail too high, so I reduced from max to medium, seamed to work for a while, then started crashing again with no log fine being saved. Reduced graphics to low, still no joy.
Suggestions?
Never encountered that, sorry. Keep toying with the graphics settings perhaps?
