Description
Basic base defense unit (as name suggests). They attack the enemies (both ground and air) with powerful kinetic blasts.

So I'm guessing the Paladin specializes in high mobility then.
If by "mobility" you mean "all-terrain capability AND pretty good speed", then yes. They have a lot of both. :P
Otherwise, Vintarids, with their teleporting units and spacefleet, are pretty much on par with them when it comes to all-terrain capability (it gets worse when it comes to speed, but they compensate it with heavy armor there).
Essence is the side which is undoubtedly last as far mobility goes, and the most campy one.
