Endlessly roaming through the Space, an alien fleet is closing to a blue planet. Its inhabitants, blissfully unaware of the upcoming threat, are struggling with the chaos they have to face everyday. And yet, it will all soon change. The world will finally become united against a common enemy. The Earth will never be the same anymore. But what will this war bring? Do the humans stand any chance against such a foe? Will everyone willingly join to fight the alien thread? And why, do the aliens seem to look so human-like?...
Years before the alien invasion, some people started to report sighting of strange, small, bluish crystals, suddenly appearing in remote Earth locations. The information about them never got into the wider public, though. Not until just few months before the alien attack, when their growth rapidly increased, with an influx of mental breakdowns and homicides in settlements nearby.
Soon after, the crystals got their name, "The Crystalline".
Damn nice. Are the big crystals just eye-candy terrain features or do they serve a purpose (such as spreading the crystals around)?
Yes, they spread crystals. I'm also thinking about adding something extra to them, so people think twice before getting too close (hint: it's in the description :P ).

What Apollo said, and i don't want to use radiation for anything related to crystals (even if i had an option of custom radiation).
Maintaining a radiation field for long periods gets laggy unfortunately. Anyhow nice crystal phallus stuff in ever increasing amounts :D
