Greetings,
This update is a follow-up to the previous article. Read it first if you haven't already. Thanks!
Alright, let's get down to business shall we? Few weeks ago we had only a couple of streets completed. We've worked really hard for the past couple of weeks and as for the result, we have already finished the level and moved on to the next one. Overall it's not an enormous level, for example it's smaller than Hell's Kitchen, but! Far more detailed. However the level could've been a couple streets bigger(that was the original plan) but we've hit a rock that we cannot get through. Meaning that we're pushing the editors limits as close to the border as possible. Actually, we ran into these limitation problems when the level was 75% complete. So, we had to make some splitting. Basically the entire level have been split into 3 parts.
First, we have the level start, where Jock drops you off. This part consist the side quest which is given to you by that creepy lady where you have to get rid of the griesels for her. That whole area is a map of its own. Then we have the streets of course which you've seen from the screenshots. You can walk freely around the streets without loadings. Last but not least, the closed metro station with the other side quest that is given to you by the arms dealer(you're told to get rid of the MJ12 troopers in the station). To sum it all up: Side quests have their own level while the primary quest is in the street map. It's a little hard to explain but if you didnt catch the point just drop a question or two down the comment section and we'll try explain it better to you.
Okey, enough of that part. It's time for screenshots!
That's all the screenshots for now. There will be more coming soon. Currently we are working on other sections of the Denfert Rochereau map.
Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
Excellent! Paris has my all time favorite Deus Ex music and the fact that Paris will be bigger means I get to explore more, while listening to the music! Perfect and flawless work on your part!
merci beaucoup
