Description

The Railgun is pretty self-explanatory. Firing a single slug at drastic speeds through magnetic conveyance technology, a railgun can penetrate even the heaviest armour, and wipe infantry off of the map in mere milliseconds. Railguns do, however, suffer from a cooldown time, and as such are extremely potent against vehicles - but are far less effective against infantry. Should you encounter a cluster of infantry, the Protector modification would be the way to go. To counter the cooldown issue, however, the Railgun upgrade outfits the MRC with not one, but two railguns, and further keeps the original chain gun for limited close-quarters support. An extremely potent weapon, the Railgun also comes with a hefty price tag, but if used effectively, is perfect for preying on straggling enemy armour, or for leading a direct assault in a support role. But that isn’t the only way the MRC can support the troops.
