Hello. We are bringing this page from death just so we can share something with you. On 20th August 2011 we have started working on Deep Chambers EP2. And after 2 years we've put together a PDF in which you can take a look at development of Deep Chambers. We can also state now that the 2nd episode of Deep Chambers has been cancelled. You can find the reasons for that in the already mentioned PDF file. This PDF also contains several easter eggs and some of them are maps from DCH Episode Two which you can actually play! You can either check the Downloads section (we will be uploading the PDF soon) or you can download it here.

Once again we would like to thank you for your support during the development of both episodes of Deep Chambers. But you can still expect something from us in the future (one of these things should be a final release of DCH EP1).

Yes, there's definitely too many dead Portal 2 mods but unfortunately we will be joining them. There are several reasons for this.

1. EP2 didn't have any plan. The only thing planned was a storyline, which tbh reminded Portal 2 a lot.
2. I didn't have a lot of experience with puzzle designing. So all the maps we have so far are not innovative in any way, so there's no point in finishing them.
3. Although we have a lot of textures and even some models with animations and some music and a lot of custom stuff, the mod would require much larger team. Yes I know, it is easy to find other people who could help us, but we think it wouldn't work.

I know you are excited for this mod (maybe because you enjoyed Space Gardens), but Space Gardens was a result of experience gained when working on this mod, and both EP1 and EP2 were low-quality in terms of gameplay (no real puzzle progression).

Now the good news. Because today is the anniversary of the EP2 (2 years since the beginning of development), Strnadik is putting together a PDF documentation in which you can have a look at some parts of the mod.

And I am already preparing something different - but I don't want to talk about this much, because I hate when I raise people's expectation and then I have to tell them the project is dead. But just so you know - we are still doing things related to Portal.

I do this quite a lot, especially when making mods for stuff. It's like making stuff up as you go along, Hence the name, But i find it's much more fun when you can laugh about with your friends and create at the same time!

Creative Futures test chamber's walls are made completely out of 100% recycled materials.

The white walls are made out of recycled toilet paper and polystyrene. What we did was we bought entire shipments of the stuff, melted them down, and froze them into a square tiled shape. We discovered that toilet paper and polystyrene mixed together made a very good (And cheap) portal conductor. It saved us from having to pay billions just to have the alternative. (Moon dust...)

Our non-portal conductive brown coloured walls were made out of crushed and melted down old car parts. After we moulded the melted down parts into tile shapes we just painted them with brown paint.

Doing all this saved Creative Futures billions of Dollars and made us an "Eco-Friendly" company.

We've achieved more than Aperture ever will. ;D

Actually, Episode Two is in SP. You probably mean Co-op mappack "Space Gardens" made by Fluppy (and me too ;D ).
Don't worry, we are working on EP2 - Not in light speed, not in Valve time speed - we are just working on it ;)
