Decay is the story of a human life. From the second a human being is born, they are in a perpetual state of Decay. This game explores that concept, taking you through a surreal version of our own world. Decay was made by a group of 5 students at Champlain College as an out of class project on their own time. It was an expirement in a lot of ways for the designer, writer, and artists. There are a few rough edges to be ironed out before the games actual release, but it will be along shortly for anyone to play. Note: Half-Life 2: Episode 2 is required to play this mod.

The first playable version of Decay is now up for download! I very much consider this to be a work in progress, and I appreciate all criticism on the environments, themes, puzzles, etc. There are still a lot of visual tweaks and optimizations to be made to the map. I plan on working useful suggestions into the mod in the future and patching them in.

I'll also be updating the screenshots in the image gallery to reflect the visual changes in the game.

Enjoy!

Its A good try, Intresting, Emotional (for all you people who know what the word "art" means)and challenging, a few things that id like for you to probally work on, for instants; making it easyer to know what the hell you have to do, on the first level, "birth", you had to put various coloured shapes on to bigger coloured shapes. this was confusing and took me half an hour to find out what to do. also the mapping, it could of had more time on it, its very square. but overall a great success. nice work :)

id concider you make a sequal or updates to this mod, give more routes instead of death or labour. theres more to life than just working. but still a good game.

One Other thing Your Missing resources folder with the English_decay.txt in it, this gives the chapter name and other things. Id be happy to create one for you, just tell me your Chapters name.

I'm not giving out criticism to you, I'm informing anybody who wants to play this that it is bad.

People make a big mistake:they make their own life miserable. There aren't much people who can make their life happy. But I think people should learn how combine fun with work, how to be patient and how to think about happy things all the time...

Fuck dude, this is incredible. Seriously, it's amazing.
I really, really wish there were mods like this. There's like twenty people I want to buy HL2 for so they can play this.

I'm tempted to whip up some props for you, like letters and boxes and such.
