Deathmatch Quaked : Source is a tribute to the work of Valve and id for their work on Deathmatch Classic and QuakeWorld. We will bring the game into this decade by adding more game modes and gameplay options while retaining the fast paced feel of the originals. It is very important to us that we retain the physics of QW while adding great eye candy and competitive game modes.

Weapon fov should be bigger imo, the weapon is too close. Also, I hope you will fix the hud.

The look and layout HUD is not final.
For some weird reason the FOV for the view model is different to that used to view the rest of the world. It tends to make the guns look rather... tubby. I'm sure mfrx will get around to changing that code eventually.
well i have changed the model of the supershotgun in the mod a newer one i am doing and the view model looks good but for some odd reason it can't find the textures needed plus the gun is backwards in the world model and looks like it's in his butt LOL, note: it's the portal gun from portal
I can't wait for some old school quaking on Source engine :)
The weapons are so far unchanged in FOV. Confirmed on that and it's a reported bug in progress...
