DEAD CRY is a Total Conversion Singleplayer Mod playable through the Far Cry 3 Map Editor after installing mod and map files. The campaign will consist of multiple singleplayer missions very much inspired by games like Left4Dead, but with a Far Cry twist to them. The maps are all built from the ground up using assets at hand. Dead Cry will not merely be a bunch of maps or a mod alone though. It's as close to a completely new game as you can get. The campaign will include an immersive soundtrack, cinematic cutscenes, custom sound effects and voiceover work. Dead Cry is set to be released around Q3 2014 and is currently in Open Beta. You'll find trailers and gameplay down below. This page will be updated regularly.

If you are gonna continue producing assets, you need to look more at reference and get a better understanding of the assets you are making. Dimensions, material, textures are all wrong on this asset.

The overall shape is nice. If you haven't already, I suggest doing an introduction to drawing/perspective and maybe light+shadow. It will help you a lof with refining your ok designs into outstanding ones.

What makes you think I did not look at reference material? In all honesty, I have lived in Amsterdam for more than 15 years, driven these trams on a daily basis. I promise you you will not get any closer to a Combino than this. So I dont really understand what you mean stating everything is wrong on this asset.

Also I'd like to clarify all models are compilations of other objects. There's no 3ds max or texturing involved here. So materials are bound to be wrong because I am limited to the 2000 objects that come with the engine. ;) Making concrete walls, tables and blackboards look like modern vehicles is quite a challenge in that sense.

That's why it would be wise to not use this tram. It just looks flawed. You cannot expect to make everything good enough due to having limited rersources, hence this tram is a good example.

Point taken, but as stated, this model is a work in progress. Once the white parts are smoothed out it's bound to look better.

Remember this is not unity or cry engine ;)

Amsterdam wouldn't be complete without a typical blue-and-white Siemens Rail Systems Combino. This model still needs a lot of work but it looks like the real one already.
