A Konev Class Frigate has 39 officers and 185 enlisted, 224 people. Now, multiply that number as the ship area size gets bigger and bigger. An Odessa Class Battleship looks (from my perspective, not 100% accurate), from this view, as if it's as big as 112 Konev Class Frigates, so 25,088 people for one battleship. Do the same kind of thing for the rest of the ships and you've got a good rough estimate on how many people each ship class shown here has.
It would be awesome if it is possible to implement, population to put onboard your starships like star trek armada 2. As in one player has more ships but doesnt have the required population to build any more.
The game vanilla sins already has something like that. Fleet logistics and Military training are both required to build your second capital ship in game. Do you mean have ships docked ( or in orbit of the planet) at the shipyard or something like that but can't use them because of the crew problem? That would be cool.
Ships in DoV warp into the game with a full crew, so a population system doesn't make sense. Our supply line system is kinda sorta like this, only it deals with special abilities and rate of fire.
That seems to be a BIG battleship.
It's Russian
jesus christ that's big....
(buried)
Well, you know what they say; "In Soviet Russia TV watches you"
Awesome mod! BTW ship classes are respected.
I really want to see what the Odessa-class looks like.
have you guys made details of how much people would be on board each of those ships. Would be nice to see that.
Exact numbers per ship will come with their respective render sheets (ala the SU, Gagarin, Konev).

Odessa is a monster. i feel that frigates will be combat ineffective, and fighter won't have enough punch.
i also see a Royal Navy emblem on here.
It is distributed as a visual aid within the Royal Navy.
f'n tities
Very Awesome! Even the the trail colors are cool! GJ!
That is massive wow
Amazing and cant wait to see it as a model :)

I`m a big battleship and i need a big cereal!
Why Odessa? It would be more Soviet if it would have a name like Stalin or Lenin, big ship named as big people for communist people.
Capital Ships are named after cities, cruisers after adjectives "glorious, fiery, honorable" etc, frigates are named after people.
quick question. Will Japan be a playable faction? or just a side non-plable faction?
Based on what I know...its a non playable faction. Even though I would love to see a space Super Yomato <3
I see your logical choice...hmm it's good.
Leningrad then.
Odessa has less Communist Oomph!
