This is a Total Conversion mod that i'm working on using the MAX PAYNE 1 Gaming engine (MaxED). The mods based on the 1978 Cult Classic Zombie Horror movie DAWN OF THE DEAD, & i'm trying to stick as closely as can to the movie, & as closely as the MaxED will allow me. I'm also using the DIRECTORS CUT version of the movie as refferance. This mod will have the same story, weapons, characters, music, & green skinned Zombies as the original movie, & just like that movie you will have to shoot the Zombies in the head to kill them.

The somewhat dated graphics harken back to the classic RE games and sets a certain tone and mood which I think is just perfect for a zombie setting, I'm looking forward to seeing more screens

Yes that's why I chose to use MP1's graphic's engine to do this mod & not MP2, as MP1's graphics have got a certain retro look & feel to them that lends it's self well to a mod that's ment to be set in the 70's, & it's a look & feel that you just don't get with MP2's graphic's engine.

You've been busy, huh ? I find your comment on how the MP1 engine has a certain retro look interesting. I never really thought of it that way! The MP1 is artistically rich in a natural way, without further additions or alterations. The last phrase was not intended to make much sense but looking at it that way...you know...
