Work is going slow on my end I've run into a few problems with the 1.3.1 code and im in the middle of finals so thats not helping much eithier.
We have two modlers an animator a mapper and a music composer guy so our team is coming together.
Were still looking for another coder, mapper, and a sound effects guy.

First off it seems as though I found some of the original story line so it looks like we are in fact sticking to the original plot. And where is everyone?...
I'm currently thinking of moving this game over to the Quake 4 engine to take advantage of some of the new features of it which includes the sky...
The old leader just contacted me, telling me that he was getting the emails from people who want to help. I dont know how long people have been emailing...
Alot of people asked questiongs like is that final skin? or is that final model?.. Id just like to clear everything up at this point nothing is final...

it's weird, this mod looks exactly like a cinematic for a game from the mid-late 90s
you need any mappers or texture artists? i know a bit about texturing and alot aboud d3 mapping ;D

Ok so far we run into alot of dead ends mostly because lack of support so I have decided to switch engines on this mod..
We will be moving to the Source engine it is simpler to use and many more helping hands are available for this engine currently we are in between the Orange box edition and the original edition of the Source engine we may go with the orange box edition if so we are going to attempt to also have this mod ported to the 360 we will look more into that later.
Work will hopefully begin soon..
Please do post your comments about this switch I'd love to hear your opinion's.
Also keep an eye out for a dawn of the dead mod under the source engine because if mod db doesn't give me control of this mod agian I will be forced to create a whole new one...
nice change, source is the most moddable engine out there so i think you might get more success there
i would prefer doom 3 engine since i dont own half life, so i dont think i own the source engine either
and i have got one question, in the mod, are you free to walk in the city in order to find stuff yourselves or the route is made for you?
it would be awesome if you were completly free with no indications (just logic, if you need weapons, u find an armory for example) so that the immersion is at 100%
AS long as the ported version came out for xbox 360 and would be playable without a hardware modification, i would be cool with that. Otherwise, i would prefer Doom 3 engine.
