Locate PCP_Enb_Series folder in your mod folder and copy the SEGA folder and paste over your SEGA folder, and run the game or any mod as usual (works with everything). After the game menu has finished loading hold SHIFT and press F12 at any time to enable/disable the tweaks. This was designed for use in battles only, it will work on the strat map but strat map lighting is far simpler so its probably best to toggle it off (SHIFT+F12).

OPTIONAL Hotseat/Multi-Factions Campaigns;

All campaigns are Hotseat compatible. Paste the following code into your TATW.cfg file (over any pre-existing "[hotseat]" section) to fight all battles in Hotseat Campaigns. Without it you will have to auto resolve defensive battles. Do this before you start your campaign and make the TATW.cfg file Read Only. This is not save game compatible as far as I know. Do not disable console, many scripts use it. Use File Swappers to allow for Hotseat Campaigns in all Ages.
Paste the following code into the pre-existing [hotseat] section or make one;

Vista/8+ users should use the installers to swap ages, but with full permissions the swappers will work. Steam users may need to change the name used in Steam to launch the game with these, just running them and starting your game as usual is fine. Locate the .bat launchers/File Swappers in your mod folder and RUN ONE whenever you switch to and from the First Age for the first time which uses different files, otherwise you need two or more mods/mod folders of TATW to have two or more Ages. Be sure to state that you are not playing the First Age if you give feedback on other Ages, be specific or you will just break all of them with misleading info.

Info for general balance testing;
~ Beor should be able to hold out for around 100 turns most games now, with effort. Going horde before that is fine though.
~ Fingolfin should last past 100 turns, as in not go horde at all.
~ Feanor should be able to hold at least one starting region in the east for the first hundred turns or more.
~ Ungoliant losing its regions doesn't matter, there are scripts to move Ungoliant further south and east each time the faction loses its regions. The faction should never actually die though.
~ Morgoth's factions should win for the first few hundred turns at least, after that the tide starts to shift. Keeping other factions alive by helping them, or using them effectively to your own ends, should be a big part of the gameplay.
~ All the other factions should not die for at least 150 turns, going horde is fine if they get focused and/or abandoned that game. If they go horde for no good reason that is bad and needs fixing, probably all their family members died or some other rare condition that needs to be accounted for.

If you can't get it to launch it is not installed correctly since others have it working. You need the "PCP Core Files Setup" as well, not just this download.
Hy and thank you for the answer.I've done that already,but I didn't quite understand what to ,,Copy, paste, and rename your Third_Age_3 folder to have this mod alongside others". If you can explain I would be very grateful(I've just finished the Silmarillon book for the third time and I want so bad to play this campaign) :).

Great mod, very detailed for the various factions. I have however noticed that if I engage in a night battle with a Balrog it causes a ctd (on campaign, haven't checked custom battle) and if I kill a Balrog in any battle it also causes a ctd (in campaign)
I will check it out, thanks. What version of Windows do you use and what BAI did you pick? The Balrogs are really Mumakil so check you can fight and kill them too.

Hmm, well in custom games I'm able to kill the Balrog and Mumakil. Quite confusing. And frustrating as I enjoy the campaigns the most.
Is there a CAI and BAI option that is more stable for Windows 10/Steam users or is it simply a matter of preference?
z3n BAI is in there for vista/8+ compatibility. I also added z3n's CAI for the hell of it, both CAIs work with any windows as far as I know (I recommend using mine). I don't know about steam compatibility, steam shouldn't matter if installed properly.
This mod was made on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit though.

It doesn't work ....... i start the game ,and after maximum 10 seconds it crashes without error on the desktop ......

The mod is really great, but I can't start a battle as the game crashes just before the deployment phase. I have tried lowering graphics settings and selecting different options (those available just after the start of a campaign) but to no avail.
Fixed it already. I forgot to check some comments on the main PCP page and apparently deleting the descr_geography files from the data folder works for me.
