The key-door gameplay elements of Curse. The new gameplay video featuring 2 type of doors from the game :
The first one is:
A green metal door (built from the same material as the 'teleport' doors, see screenshot 003 in the images section). The objective here is to move the yellow ball to the ram head. The second type of doors are:
The golden ones, opening only when you push 2 buttons in the correct order (marked with yellow, blue,or red triangles and eyes).
I mentioned earlier (when the teaser was released) that the game's monsters are under development, and that's why the teaser was featured the zombies from Half-life 2 instead of mummies, but now they(the mummies) are in a much better shape. There will be 3 types of mummies in the game, firstly Mummies without wrapping :
This is a concept image, based on the ingame models. Mummies with some wrapping:
Mummies fully wrapped:
The mummies using the same animation rig as the humans in Half-life 2, but with less fingers, plus -instead of using vertex animation for the faces- 3 extra bones for animating their jaws and eyebrows.(altough they don't have one)
The blue ball is for opening the mouth, and the yellow and pink nulls for moving the 'eyebrows'. (in the game, the eyes are glowing, they've got this sunglasses-inside-a-skull look only in modtool) These extra bones for facial animation are a Huge benefit : when you proceed to beat the mummies to a pulp, they'll be able to express their feelings about the situation.
