Cry Havoc mod for Quake 2

Cry Havoc is one of the most under rated multi-class teamplay modifcations for Quake 2. This mod boasts team class features features not even matched in Half-Life mods, and was ahead of its' time.

Choose from seven unique character classes to play in either Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, or Capture the Runes game mode.

Play as the stealthy Navy Seal equipped with c4 explosives and silencer machine gun, or as the technological wonder, the Rigger, with the special skill of utilizing a drone to aid in battles.

Each class has some unique ability as well as different maximums of armor and ammo. Some classes also have new designed weapons (such as the Techy's lasergun) complete w/ new skins and total functionality. Some other classes have had their weapons modified in other ways (such as the firemode switch for the Navy Seal machinegun). Each player class in Cry Havoc has its on unique skin, for male as well as female models. Other classes are being added and versions are being updated rapidly.

The tactics that develop out of any class-based modification are probably the best part. Finding little tricks and traps for each class (or just your favorite few) can be as fun as gibbing an LPB with a blaster over a 14.4 bps connection to America Online, but easier. Figuring out when the best time to active the Sapper's explosive timer, finding the best placement for the Navy Seal's C4, how to perform cool Ariel maneuvers with the Rocketman, and an unlistable number of other neat tricks and tips you learn each time you play.
