Digital Paint: Paintball 2 was originally a Quake2 mod. Now that Quake2 has been released under the GPL, Paintball2 has become a complete standalone game with an enhanced, open-sourced engine. Between the Quake2 physics and the one shot kills, it's an extremely fast paced game with numerous maps and gameplay modes. Gameplay modes include Elimination, CTF, 1-Flag CTF, Siege, Deathmatch, King of the Hill, and Pong. Some of the engine enhancements include reflective water and skeletal animation.

Sk89q put together a handy feature vote system where you can vote for (or against) features you would like to see in the next version of Paintball2. To vote for a feature, simply visit the Feature Vote link and click the [+] next to feature(s) you want. You must be logged into your global login account first. If there is a feature you'd like to see in the next version, but it isn't listed, there is a special section on the forums for submitting feature requests for voting. Please don't spam requests. I vote 10, because DP2 is the best mod i've ever seen (apart of cs :) ) and when you got the Lekky's HD textures, the game is better than without

Please do not listen to this guy Darkburger, he may have been playing since when his forum account was registered in July 06, but he only posted in the forums three times from then to now, 2 in a thread he made telling DP2 players to switch to truepaint, a completely unrelated game with a different type of gameplay. He was well aware of the cheat detection in DPBall, and was caught using a very common hack, and banned. He hasn't even denied this, and for some reason thinks he must now tour araound the web insulting DPball and its community. Also, this mod is awesome, PLAY IT!
