Fantastic graphics mod for a classic game. Love the effects for rendering glass and liquids, the real-time lighting and shadowing, high-res bump-mapped textures etc. Love that many enemies also emit light from their bodies, sparks when they fall dead. Also liked the enhanced graphics to show use of Breathing and Env Suit, makes it look very high-tech. I like the idea of 'Predator' enemies and drones, but happy that it is customizable and can be removed if not wanted.

My hearty thanks to the person(s) that coded and packaged this and made it available to Quake 2 fans.

I love the way it looks, but there appear to be gameplay changes as well...? Some sort of weird grav grenades is the only thing I noticed so far but it's not what I was looking for. Thanks for the amazing visuals though!

It is all customizable - QBE drones (or grav-grenades as you call them), 'Predator' style invisible enemies, and respawning can all be scaled up/down as per your preference.

I have two questions:

1. How do I properly install the mod to the Quake 2 game once I have it downloaded and extracted? I tried running it from it's own folder and it couldn't load the single player game and it appeared a bunch of textures were missing.

2. When I exited the Berserker application, it seemed like there was a brown tint to my monitor that wasn't there before. Does anyone know how to fix this?

was able to find tracer option in q2b.cfg to disable them
but still seaching for disable the glow or change collour mb =)

Q:
is there a way to keep the original blood effects ?
and bullet inpacts mb too.
i like them alot !!!
there are no other blood bullet effects which could replace it for me
would really hurt to miss them.
i mean it must be a way to keep them.
its not like adding something new just add less effect.

i didnt used railgun yet but if it hasnt the old particle after a shot
i would like to see them either mb a remake of old one or the original railgun effect is fine too.

i think someoen asked the railgun quetion already but couldnt find it anymore.

one of my last question is
i saw a quake 2 remastered vid
not sure if it was QuakeIIxp
but the Quad DMG had a Blue Glow Cover

thats something i like only in Q3A
BUT in Quake II a old rusty crumbling Quake II logo with verdigris on it
thats what i would like to see IF it was the xp version were i saw !!!

ONE PROBLEM :

on Single Player there is a "lan connection" icon faslhin on my left uper corner ! and it brings lag effect. BUT IN SP !!!!

what is this ? and any way to fix it ?
i dont need simulated lags in SP =/

It doesn't work with the Quad Damage Gog version. It opens the console and says "Server was killed" and it keeps repeating "creating DS buffers ... using secondary sound buffer" over and over again.

HELP
