In the distant future, mankind faces the greatest threat it has ever known. A mysterious force known only as "Razor" is invading isolated colonies. Several outposts have been attacked, the survivors turned into cybernetic slaves who turned on their would-be rescuers. No one knows where the attacks are coming from, but Razor must be stopped before the death toll rises any higher. We have recently lost contact with a research station on Io, the first moon of the planet Jupiter. The facility there was devoted to discovering new energy sources, and was on the verge of a major breakthrough when we received a distress call indicating that the facility was under siege.
