Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals.
General Alexander's main headquarters was visited by some of the best security advisors of the United States. The Fire Base looked so last decade (last century according to some's opinion). It often missed its target. Alexander was presented the new Ion Defense Tower. Infantry's efficiency was once again not underestimated. There were four positions for them to fit inside. The ion tower was described to be capable of firing instant shots with no fire delay between the source and the target. Ion Tower was mentioned as a reliable defense against fast-moving enemies. General Alexander was advised to pay more attention at power needs. Because of all that, she revised her budget.

The base itself still looks horrible. The texture quality on it is a huge visual disturbance next to the tower one. Now only that, but putting a tower that fires basically an ion cannon on top of an opened container sandbags base makes about as much sense both visually and realistically as tits on a fish. Imo you guys might wanna reconsider the sandbags/open container design for this one.

Where exactly do you see sandbags? Please point me...I see futuristic metal/concrete tower structure! We might not look the same model!?
At least fix, whatever it is that's replacing the sandbags. The texture is ridiculously low res and badly stretched

Just saw this mod and haven't tested it yet. looks promising.. gunno download C&C gen and give it a try.
