Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals.

And does toxins affect this soldier?
It's a fire suit. Yes, toxins affect him.
If you shoot the gas tank on his back will he explode`?
You can't choose where to hit him. It doesn't explode.
But it may be good idea to let him explode upon death. Creating small field of fire.
The Dragon Tanks already have this addition, but it's not needed here. The fire won't do any significant damage as it's so small, but our team might discuss it.

anyways nice soldier cool weapon and i agree it should explode and then make a little fire (just for background)
Yes, they are both wearing a fire suit. However, there is armor on this one.
