Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals.

This time we didn't make a news article, since there are not many visually finished changes, but we do have one new unit ready.
"Atlas" base defense replaces the old SSM artillery defense for Super Weapon general at rank 3.
Cost and build time are the same, it can hold up 4 infantry like before. But it lost ability to clear toxins and acids.
Also, it doesn't fire rockets anymore, instead it fires Power Bullets which can be upgraded both with Emmiter upgrade and EMP explosions.
Bullets are currently not deviated by ECM field.

The question is... Does it retain a similar range to the SSM?
Yes, same range.
I'd imagine this being that typical defense that the closer in range the more damage, but it might be the look that makes me think that

amazing bullets
That thing looks like a beast! Good work! Cannot wait to see it in action.
A couple questions though:
1) What's the speed of the bullets?
2) Will it be able to damage AND disable targets when EMP warheads researched?
3) Will it be able to disable any unit, even super units, in 1 hit like before?
4) Will the damage per bullet be the same as the damage per rocket/missile?
1. speed is almost the same as rockets, but they have arty like trajectory
2.yes, you need blackout super weapon to purchase emp bullets, after that it will disable units.
3. super units have high emp resistance, so no, it wont disable them instantly
4. currently it is, but since this structure is fresh, it is still under testing and changing revisions
but can the atlas disable super units once it fires enough rounds at them?
Will there be another defense structure that can automatically target and clear toxins and radiation? I found it to be quite a useful feature, it increased the longevity of my bulldozers.
