Suggestion: Increase AK size and Vietnamese and Chinese people generally have smaller body sizers compared to caucasians, there for, ak should be little bigger on them.
So they should have the standard Russian helmet, by that time the USSR wasn't poor as dirt and had standard issue helmets AND paratroopers were still eliteish infantry at that time so helmets would have been issued, especially in the jungle. Just puttin my thoughts in, as I was a paratrooper for 5 years. :)
No, seeing as the VDV is a special line of Russian Airborne Troops (Rotary Wing Based Assault Units) that during the time period wore their "BLUE" Berets.
So what they should have is that the berets they are wearing now... actually look blue.
Well I was under the impression you were confused and thought these were some sort of chinese/vietnamese unit as you wrote it right on here. Anyways, since we don't even have someone able to export models let alone resize them I doubt you'll be seeing these things anytime soon.
i already told aaron 20 times that VDV are paratroopers and wouldnt have been used is situations like vietnam but then he says spetznaz wasn't formed until the late 1970's *facepalm*
They are, but sometimes soldiers do wear them in the combat, such as British airborne troops in Falkland War. In the 1980's, Soviet VDV did wear hats like boonie hats and berets during war in Afghanistan, but I am not even sure if they should wear Soviet Uniforms. Most of Soviet servicemen served in Vietnam were in NVA or even Viet-Cong Uniforms to avoid unnecessary trouble, Soviet Union was NOT in a hot war with Americans, so personally I think they should have some customized NVA uniform instead.

I think I left the music on.
Nice work.

I disagree but I don't want to start an argument lol. :) Anyways, you're right. Their berets are a light blueish color.
Also, they had striped undershirts :) It was kinda a signature piece of attire for them.
I wrote my comment on VDV picture, I thought you would understand that when I was talking about Vietnamese and Chinese I meant on them, NOT on VDV...

Will the vdv operatives have a weapon upgrade?
Yes they will have have rifle granades upgrade and a RPK whit tifle granade i mean this World.guns.ru
They're gonna have rifle grenade launchers eh? Well I hope your'e aware we don't have a state on the AK for that...
cant we awh :(
The grenade launcher is a good idea, but it is not historical, the first grenade launcher for the AK 47 was produced in 1978, it was the GP-25

Maybe you should put a Balaclava over their face. To give them more appearance "Special Operation" ...
Not sure, but the VDV did used KLMK suits and bulletproof vests especially on dangerous missions.
I thought their berets were ceremonial.
