Modern Combat transports players into the midst of a high-tech war between the current-day Chinese and U.S. militaries. Incorporating all-new factions, units, doctrines, gamemodes, artwork, music, maps, and singleplayer missions, we aim to craft the most immersive and enjoyable strategic representation of 21st-century combat possible on the PC.

In CoH, this is the only mod that represent a modern warfare. And these few years very few or no RTS do a present time, mostly fictional and unrealistic models.

You guys did a wicked job making such amazing model! OMG, this is even better than Act of War & World in Conflict(sorry WiC fan, but I just can't let myself in).

Cheers to blackstudio and Modern Combat! Huraay!

The M1A2 with the Urban kit will be a bit slower than this version, but will have reactive armor along the sides, and will have an additional remote controlled Predator turret, as seen on the Stryker FSV

I'm wondering it you could release one tank or so as a separate mod until release.
Say, replace the Sherman with the M1A2, give it all the same stats, just give us the looks.
I think that'd be a good way to get some testing done on the artwork and maybe sounds and it'd help whet everyone's appetites.

Not going to happen. All the models are going to be exclusive to our mod until release. After the release people will have to make deals with the people who have been modeling, UV'ing, texturing and animating the model(s).

Deal? Err, do it cost money?

I'm no expert in modelling but I uses Maya and attempt to model a Challenger 2, somehow it always sucks! Is the model are modelled in Maya or 3D Max?

I'm still zero talent in texturing.

No, not any money. I am saying is that you need to contact the people who made it, and ask them if you could use their work. (multiple people usually work on a vehicle)

Ohh, well I guess I could wait and see how the mod turn out. By the time Modern Combat is published and officail. I'm guessing lots of guys going to make additional army for Modern Combat. Wow, guess that future maybe a reality!

Oh yeah, you haven't answer my first question. Its made from maya or 3s Max?

3D Max is where most of the models are made. There are about 6 which are made in Sketch Up Pro, and 3 made in Softimage XSI. And a grand total of 0 in maya.

Sad, I wish it was compatible to Autodesk Maya. 3D Max is still very expensive and I need to save for it.

are you guys going to make the m1a2 realistic? cause theyre @$!&#xin;g hard to kill in real life, like rpgs barly affect them and the majority of iraqs tanks couldnt even cause minor damage unless then hit a tred

actually.. abrams are quite easy to destroy.. a few hits in the rear and its gone. really.. its pretty crap compared to other european tanks such as the leopard 2 or the challenger 2. in fact.. a challenger 2 that was deployed in basra was hit 70 times by rpgs.. and yet still survived. dont get me wrong, i love the abram.. its just crap compared to other european tanks

Do you have a source for this? That vulnerability of the abrams that is, i believe a Challenger can take hits, but as can an Abrams. Say that five times fast.
