ZiS-2 Anti-tank gun image - Company of Heroes: Eastern Front mod for Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts
Eastern Front is a free mod for Company of Heroes. Following the ethos of mimicking a Relic Entertainment expansion pack, Eastern Front has succeeded in adding two full new factions, the Soviet Red Army and the German Ostheer, packed with unique and exciting units to the existing armies - a feat never before achieved in the Company of Heroes world.
The ZiS-2 is no longer in the Soviet Support Barracks after the new version 2.3.0.0, because it was replaced by the ZiS-3. However, you can still get this unit by unlocking the second upgrade at right side hand of the Propaganda War Strategy Tree. It will allow you to stop the production of ZiS-3 and only produce ZiS-2.
Once such command tree upgrade is active, it will allow you to upgrade your remaining (and already produced) ZiS-3 teams to ZiS-2 as well... similar of how the T-34/85 upgrade works for the T-34/76.

Isn't the ZiS-3 better than the ZiS-2?
The ZiS-2 was made specifically with a 57mm shell to counter the armored threat that German tanks like the Tiger and Panther posed - it was the better AT gun. MUCH higher velocity shell usually means lots more armor penetration. :)
Could this perhaps hint that the new update is soon to come? Grand looking models by the way.

We are uploading the installer in ModDB, but it will take a while to get the authorization.
Oh my, it's very soon then. I'm greatly excited! Thanks for continuing to provide the CoH Community with such a fantastic mod, which I think personally is better than CoH2. Good thing too since CoH Modding has been on a mini-hiatus for the last few months.

Ahh the zis grey hair maker I remember the pain of the rebuild well :)
As I recall there should be a 76mm howitzer somewhere as well, which caused even more grey hair.
