Eastern Front is a free mod for Company of Heroes. Following the ethos of mimicking a Relic Entertainment expansion pack, Eastern Front has succeeded in adding two full new factions, the Soviet Red Army and the German Ostheer, packed with unique and exciting units to the existing armies - a feat never before achieved in the Company of Heroes world.

What does the Nashorn replace, the Jagdpanther, or the Marder3?

Its better than an 88. The 88 Emplacement uses the same gun as the Tiger.
The Nashron uses the 88 from the King Tiger which is better than the Tiger's.

Tiger uses 88mm Kw.K.36 L/56
King Tiger and Nashron uses 88mm Kw.K.43 L/71 (this gun is longer thus the "L/71" and the round leaves at a higher velocity)

Of course it loses the ability to shoot down aircraft, but they're abit too slow for that anyway. :P

In some sense Nashorn is somewhat of a strange reward unit, since it replaces the Flak 36, not a tank destroyer. Hopefully it will be great!

:3 it not replacing a TD makes sense cause if it replaced anything but a tank with at least an 88mm gun.
But I think I might use the 88 emplacement since I have a nasty habit of bunkering down most of the game...
I want to see that IS-3 explode...
