Eastern Front is a free mod for Company of Heroes. Following the ethos of mimicking a Relic Entertainment expansion pack, Eastern Front has succeeded in adding two full new factions, the Soviet Red Army and the German Ostheer, packed with unique and exciting units to the existing armies - a feat never before achieved in the Company of Heroes world.

No, it was adopted from the Browning model 1903, and had many improvements on it. The fact that it looks like the M1911 is irrelevant.

NKVD was not part of the Red Army, yet they were vital to its operation under the Soviet regime. Therefore we feel they were a natural inclusion. And please, tell us what looks 'not right' about him.

Hey there were a lot NKVD units who fought on the frontlines as elite infantry, A good example the 34th Motorised NKVD Regiment.

We're not modifying all Factions, this is supposed to be an Unofficial Expansion pack, the Whermacht, Panzer Elite, Commonwealth and American factions are untouched.

Post suggestions or whatever you have to offer on the Eastern Front forum, our Developers will no doubt take a look. We may extend our historical realism in a future release, but at the moment, we are concentrating on completing the initial release.

Soviet Officers did not fight with ornaments and medals. The blue flag in the background also ruins the setting. But good work nonetheless.
