After an emission began, I went to the nearest shelter as normal. I used the wish granter to increase the game speed so the emission would begin sooner (since it usually takes about 5 minutes), but accidentally set the speed too high so the emission came and went in an instant. The problem I have now is that the behaviour of NPCs hasn't changed following the emission, they still behave as they would during one (that is, sitting down in groups under shelter, not moving). Important NPCs (such as traders or mechanics) are not present on the map at all, though they will appear if I quick save then quick load in front of where they are supposed to be.This isn't a game-breaking problem as I can still talk to all the important people by quick saving and quick loading, but I would prefer to get it fixed. Is there any way of resetting their behaviour, such as triggering another emission?

Wow, like watching in mirror.

I have exactly the same problem, and im not sure if it started after emission or after i toyed around with wish granted (just learned to use it) but now i can't complete the game anymore. As Shaq said, NPC's wont spawn and reloading will respawn them, THAT is still doable. But also, it fuck's up NPC AI and something more too, since i should now go to help the scientists with the brain anomaly thingy device and restart cooling system in that factory, but those NPC's that are supposed to help me just stand there and the whole factory area is just empty and cant do anything...

Help needed! Cant be arsed to restart whole game again, after all this time.

I had this problem as well. It doesn't break the game, but Faction Wars takes longer since I have to kill everything myself. I lost interest in playing once this happened. I hope it is fixed eventually, because that was the only complaint I had. Everything else was great, but this just killed the experience for me.
