I have a very weird issue, when i subscribe or download CW or any other large mod which edited the map, the game got stuck before main menu comes up.
Also, this never happened before the latest Steam update. Before the Steam update, everything was fine, a few minutes of waiting on the first loading and the game moves on.
Now the game got stuck at the end of initial loading, then it just died, not responding, even for hours so it must not be a loading problem.
I have tried everything, my PC met all the requirements, I have Hegemony:Rome and all DLCs, adjusted all settings, but this issue only happens when I use large mods like VA, PunicWars, or any version of CW, smaller sandbox mods requiring HegemonyRome still works.
Anyone else having similar issues? or has this ever happened before?

SGZ is uploading his CW mod here on moddb primarily because he technically can't upload it in the steam workshop. Not sure if its a steam thing or if its a longbow issue.
However, since a few days I also can't access the activity stream from my steam library for Hegemony 3. It works for other games. Something is strange.
I urge you to report this to the steam helpdesk. You can also ask in the steam user group both in steam and/or reddit.
