Motion capture surely save a lot of time compare to animating by hand.
But...could it do, say, v_model animations? 0_0
No, v model animation is better if you do it by hand and program, not motion capture.

Redoing all the animations would be some work. While that would be cool, to have these fluent movements based around AI such as dodging and whatnot, we're only using mocap for scenes, and specific scripted events.
Did you use the cheap mocap that uses the Kinect mod tools? Or the overpriced hollywood tools?
Neither. We use iPiSoft.
