Yep, you heard that right - quake 1 portal gun - find the original qc mod here: Gamers.org
And check the date - "portal10.zip 01-Apr-1997 16:00" - in the archive too, read it right, 1997! Long before the "new" portal.
The demo shows quake 1 solved in 7 mins (or so, died once) from e1m6 (just because its a cool place to start) to shubs telefrag.

I got a request to put this in the chaos mod. So if the logistics work out, it will be there.
