2 things are brightening my day right now:
The latest darkplaces has a new cvar: sv_freezenonclients
It stops everything but the client. Besides being great for troubleshooting and research, this means you can get some amazing screenshots. (Like this...)
This is a screen of the HD pack lava bomb airborne - this one is from Chthon.
This pack has some amazing visuals, and I think integrating it with the mod is a priority. At least for the singleplayer reboot it is. Mostly because I want to play through again with it and my mega / super monsters.
This wont happen until after 1.0.5a is out, and maybe even after the first beta.
Depends on what develop time looks like. I might have to re-write some code sections from scratch. (Spaghetti is getting a big ugly in places.)
