While I was playing the mod, my screen went completely black but the game kept running, so I'm not sure if it was a glitch on the mod or if I installed the mod correctly
Disable the overlay from discord
Oh yeah. that's just a discord overlay glitch
That happens when you got the discord app open and you get a notification, the screen turns completely black to the point you have to restart the whole game. I suggest if you use discord while playing this, use the website discord and not the app version.

buddy, thats the infamous black screen glitch. How it usually occurs is your Anti Virus will do a FALSE POSITIVE on some random file within the game folders( i forget which one it is) and by removing the file causes the Black-Screen glitch to occur. You can stop this by telling your AV to shut the **** up about this file. (usually by reporting a false positive report through the AV)

So I downloaded the mod but it doesn't seem to work on my end. Whenever I try to select the new maps added, no gamemodes are available, making them unplayable. I also have the Unofficial 1.3 Patch installed, what can I do to fix this problem?

it didn't crash with other mods. Just BF3 legacy's userscript. I don't think El_Fabricio fixed it tho

All this camera shake, motion blur, and the new camera position being all zoomed up on the characters and not being able to see anything in third-person makes me have a headache and not able to play this mod at all.
I keep having my screen go entirely black about 10 seconds to a minute every life. Respawning for any reason resets that timer, and the pause screen reveals what I *should* be seeing until I unpause the game. This happens in both first and third person. That was happening on the kashyyyk docks map playing the phase one gametype. Then I had the same problem, whole screen going black, on Saleucami playing the madalorian gametype, only this time it happened in class selection. It didn't even wait for me to spawn then. I don't know why this is happening, I've never had this issue before.
on a seperate note, none of the mandalorian class names show up as anything other than random numbers and letters, their abilities and melee attacks show up as what I assume are the file references, and half of the classes are actually droids which I assume isn't supposed to happen.
I don't know if it just installed really weird or what, but this is the jankiest mod I have yet to try. I hope that this gets worked out in future updates, or that it's just my game. I'll try a clean install and see what happens
Hey man! Have you discord? Because when playing BF2 with the discord overlay on, you have black screens everytime. Just turn off the overlay for this ^^
For the localization problem, I don't remember seeing anything like you said, maybe reinstall the mod and the latest version of the v1.3 patch you can find on moddb.

it was discord, a friend of mine found that out and told me. Thanks for the response though. The mod is way more enjoyable now that I can see it XD
after playing it for a couple hours, I realized that this mod has some MAJOR balance issues in that the CIS is nearly ALWAYS going to win no matter which side I'm on. their units are simply more powerful, and even with me on the republic, it's not enough to tilt the scale. I think the CIS special units also suffer a lot less recoil than the Republic's, which makes playing the CIS way easier and only furthers the imbalance. I love the rotary canon though, it goes a long way to taking out the super battle droids becuase those things are bullet sponges.
Basically, it's a great mod, it just needs some balancing and some proper names for Mandalorian classes and weapons/abilities

It is possible Discord is messing with it? My screen would go black a lot and it was because of the Discord in-game overlay.

Thats just a part of the added challenge dude ;) if you played it for more than 1 minute you get used to it and it just becomes part of the natural combat and you easily get into the groove
DarthSith is entirely right! The screenshake is just a matter of habit!
My personal opinion is that being shot could be very disorienting. So everything fits.

It seems like the maps and era of the demo is not included in the beta, can I run the beta and demo at the same time?

Technically yes, you can run both 1.0 & 2.0.1 at the same time. You shouldn't have any issue except one: Bespin Cloud City map will not be playable (working on a fix as I type those word).
If it works, the OPB 1.0 Bespin cloud city map will most likely overwrite 2.0.1's cloud city.
2.0.1's cloud city map is quite improved compare to 1.0 one. But if you don't care about this map, sure go ahead!
