This power plant has been made long before C&C3 came.
EA took the CNC3 GDI power plant from this mod. Lol, they suck :P

This one, and the C&C3 one, is based on Dawn's power plant!
C&C3 units/buildings are based on TD ones. Just look at GDI units (barracks, a jeep, a mammoth tank not mech, grenadiers instead of disk throwers, ASO!).
Its also like the original CNC power generator.

As it happens, this power plant and the advanced version of the same are in the CABAL arsenal now - if a Core is captured it will be possible to construct them (as well as a few cyborg-type units) :)
Even the official C&C 3 plant model can not rival this one .
