Rebellion and Imperial Ship Scales image - Canon Mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Basically this mod will just adjust the units and gameplay of FoC to make it more canon to Star Wars lore. At the moment it will only be space. This means all ships will be rescaled and the amounts and types of weapons will be increased in order to try and bring them to spec. This is not meant to balance the game, but to make it more "realistic". There will be no fancy new ships or stunning new graphics (yet), just a difference in gameplay that will hopefully mimic the style and action of the films.
Here are the new sizes for the Rebellion and Imperial ships. I have tried to get as many as possible to scale, but had to guess on some. In the third image you can see the buggy engine particles for the fighters. Please comment so I can get this right.
Venator-class star destroyers should be about as long as a Mon Calamari cruiser: 1200 meters. That's the only problem I see.
The Calamari Cruiser should be 1,500 meters and the Venator is 1,137 meters. The Victory (900m) should also be shorter than the Venator. Adjusting the Venator size would also fix the engine problem. For the other ships, Nebulon-B is 300m, Acclamator is 752m, Interdictor Cruiser is 600m, and the Corellian Corvette is 150m. I don't know the other ships because I can't see them that well. I think the size for the Executor is accurate since its 19,000km long.
uh.. Ace you just said the executor is 19 thousand kilos long, because 19,000 - 19k kilo, i think ur going for 19,000 meters, not kilos and if u want kilos, it'd be 19 kilometers long
the star destroyer needs to be bigger than the "home one"
actually both the home one and the mon cal cruiser are 1200 m the venator is 1137m and AdmirialAsh is right about the other ones
no I thought the home one is supposed to be as long as 2 imperial star destroyers.
