Basically this mod will just adjust the units and gameplay of FoC to make it more canon to Star Wars lore. At the moment it will only be space. This means all ships will be rescaled and the amounts and types of weapons will be increased in order to try and bring them to spec. This is not meant to balance the game, but to make it more "realistic". There will be no fancy new ships or stunning new graphics (yet), just a difference in gameplay that will hopefully mimic the style and action of the films.
Description
This file is for if you are using a faster computer with Canon Mod 3.2. All it is is a new GameConstants file which you need to add to C/Program Files/Lucasarts/Forces of Corruption/Mods/Canon Mod/Data/xml (this may vary slightly depending on where your game is installed). Just click 'yes' when it asks you if you want to overwrite and you will be set. On a side note check and see how the mod runs for you first before you apply the patch; if it works just fine for you, there is no need for it.

no, it doesnt add anything new, it physically slows down the speed at which the game moves so that it doesnt run too fast. on older computers the game has been sped up to compensate for a lower frsme rate; faster computers dont need this.
in any case, like it says, test the game out on your rig first, and if it runs fine--you dont need the patch. it's really a matter of personal preference
