Call of Chernobyl is a free-play sandbox mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Call of Pripyat created by TeamEPIC. It features 32 explorable maps, reworked level design and level fixes, new original level, Trucks Cemetery, Full AI and A-Life overhaul, engine and script enhancements, Repeatable task system which bases itself on A-Life events, Customizable weather environments for every map as well as surges and psi-storms from AF3, Character creation which includes name, portrait and faction selection; Several optional modes such as Ironman mode, story mode and zombie survival mode, New achievements, rankings and reputation system, PDA leaderboard and enhanced PDA statistics, Companion system with keyboard issued commands, many optional side-features and community-made addons . Description

This download is not needed for players to play CoC, it's only useful for modders! The pack contains updated level editor scenes and updated objects for CoC 1.4. It's a cumulative SDK update, contains all former SDK updates. These level editor scene changes are in CoC's all.spawn already, from 1.4.00+ patch.

Installed SDK-0.7 --> SDK files for CoC (full editors folder)--> CoC_SDK_Scene_Update.
As it turned out on the way X-Ray_CoP_SDK\editors\rawdata\objects\levels absent l01_escape. I decompiled the card, but SDK, arguing with these errors:

Impossible.
Your pictures about the red errors are not related to missing SDK objects.

"visual...has no animation..." type errors must be ignored, they are not important.

Before you install COC SDK files, backup and remove your files from X-Ray_CoP_SDK\editors\rawdata\objects\levels, because the errors like
"skipping invalid version of level part" refer to an error on your part, you mixed COC SDK files with older (probably SOC) scene files.

I renamed the folder "editors" of the SDK-0.7 before you move in SDK-0.7 folder "editors" of the SDK files for CoC (full editors folder) and add and copy replacement files from CoC_SDK_Scene_Update.
With an error of type "visual ... has no animation ..." I knew what to do with an error such as "Skippig invalid version of level part"? As in the first screenshot.
The error can be from what I decompiled the level of BETA Patch 1.4 RC 4.1?

Yes, probably you did use a converter for SOC, and COP SDK can't read the files.

By the way, the level.spawn and level.game files in gamedata\levels\map folders are obsolete, they were not updated by patches, you have to split the latest all.spawn to get the latest level.spawn.

I will release the SDK update files for 1.4 patch as usual, after the patch release.

No, I used X-Ray Game Asset Converter from 06/24/2015, so take from here:

Converter.ini and customizable files, fsconverter.ltx and bat. file for decompiling CoP level prescribed version spawn CoP.
But I think I understood the reason. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I was before decompile level of the CoC, tried to decompile the level of the other fashion CoP.

Nice! Btw but i hate level editor. It's unstable. When i click to move object, editor keep crashing again and again.

It's an old tool, made for XP and Win 7. I just press "continue" and step over the fake error.

Just imagine what we have to suffer.

Don't forget to save and restart it frequently.
And don't activate the view for everything, only that you need to work.
Each time I activate the spawn view, it kill me.

I'm just getting started. Trying for the first time.
I didn't do anything yet, just tryied to install sdk, maps and scenes with propre upgrades but I noticed a problem : I can't open darscape nor agroprom LE just crashes. Do you have any idea why ? (I can open a lot of other scenes).

Thank you for all the work, giving access to all that ! I hope I'll be capable enough to do something with it.

Now I can't open Limansk but I'm sure i was able to open it before. So either the SDK is really too unstable on my system or I unintentionnaly modified something in limansk when I opened it.
Does SDK have a kind of autosave ?
Now I just start over with the whole installation, following the steps described in this page.

Perhaps in your windows appdata folder. But not sure.

SDK don't like too much LOD textures too (les than 3000 files if I remember). So, try to clean up gamedata/textures/lods and rawdata/textures/lods

What would cause some of the levels to show flat red textures instead of the correct material / texture? Seems like the textures are missing so I tried synchronizing the textures but it didn't help. I.imgur.com

Under "Edit Mode", click on "Sector". Then under "Tools", click on "Visibility" and then "Hide All".

Anyone else having a problem where attempting to make a change on certain maps will immediately crash the level editor? So far, I've been able to make changes to the Garbage and NPP 2, but not Yantar, the Cordon, the Agroprom, the Wild Territory, or Limansk. And probably a lot more.

Specifically, I'm trying to make AI map changes. The Garbage and NPP 2 worked perfectly, but everything else has crashed at the first attempted node deletion or creation.

Edit: Never mind, I fixed it. The editor apparently didn't like "X-Ray CoP SDK" as a folder name. Changing it to "XRay_SDK" fixed it. Thanks for the SDK!

So with this I can decompile levels, place the "sound occulusion" export the files and BAM we have echoes in CoC? -> the EAX users atkeast? Anyone with knowhow pls contact me =D

When i run 3_xrAI_allspawn.bat i get the error with "Can't create entity. D:\prog_repository\sources\trunk\utils\xrAI\xr_graph_merge.cpp"
