This allow every detectors to find all artefacts. Update to works with some mods that alter artefacts.
Oh. Finally. Thanks. I'll give it a try.
Hello
Your idea to allow the Bear detector to detect all artifacts is really good.
Well done!
Thank you dude to show me the way. ;)
Thank you :)
Honestly this is actually really useful. It makes sense that detectors should be able to detect all artefacts, the only thing not the same would be their reliability. Love it! :)
Nice now i dont have to kill the eco dude for svarog every time. Now if only someone would bring the detectors and artifacts from SGM to CoC.
What eco dude? I can't ever seem to find anything past a Bear, even having looted like 30 stashes.
I think he talking about Krugilov..... i know hes up in Yanov, unfortunate you have to kill him to get it.
Odd, I got a svarog detector early in the game, out of a stash.
Glad to see that you like it guys.
I had this idea since a long time and am happy to play with it.
Noob in modding, I've just ask and collect the work of anothers. See credits ;)
Its pretty good, it really bothered me that the AIs could pick up all the artifacts that i could not even see.
(buried)
such modifications destroy gameplay longevity.
I created the original mod on the basis that I actually found finding artifacts with the echo detector much more enjoyable than the other detectors which made it too easy in vanilla COP, so the intent was definitely to increase gameplay longevity.
I think he means that being able to find all artifacts with the earliest and cheapest detector could make it too easy to amass money in the early-game.
I have adapted this mod because I prefer the design and the use of the Bear detector.
I don't understand why there is no sound on the Veles and Svarog. It is very usefull for me, so I can be informed there is an artefact without looking my detector. It is more convenient to explore and continue to look around. And more fun to search, mostly with the Echo.
It is rare but sometimes you can find an artefact outside an anomaly, and I like walking with my detector and a gun in the other hand. Just my way to appreciate the game.
I agree that it's easier, but you can adjust your way to play by giving your brand new artefact to a Stalker you appreciate. Until you find the Veles. (Svarog only detect "Oasis Heart" and " Dummy pellicle" more).
In my last playthrough, I found the Veles 5 minutes after the Echo. And 3 toolkit tier 3 before buying the first one.
There are so many ways to appreciate this (magnificent) game. ;)
Will this require new save?
No, you can go with your current one.
I really like this. Yeah, it might make the game a tiny bit easier, but I honestly like the Bear detector best of all as well. Plus, like the author, I have also found Veles detectors VERY early in some of my playthroughs, so it really isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of the game. This just allows you to use the detector that you prefer, which is nice. You can justify this if you want by saying that there is now enough knowledge about the artifacts that they were able to program all of the detectors with all their information. That's what I'm going with:)
If I was able to do it, my first idea was to make detectors "editable".
Making it realizable by searching for pieces of material and paying for the mecanic work. Like in CoP with Nitro (the mecacnic in Yanov).
Great, I was getting tired of having to seek out a Veles, Savrog detector to get decent artefacts.
Does this mod work with 33 new artifact mod?
It will now.
I don't try it for this moment. Please tell me if you have any problems.
Thanks.
In adapting to 33 New Artifacts incorrect icons for new artifacts.
PS: Link to fixed file Yadi.sk PPS: Sorry for my terrible English.
In adapting to 33 New Artifacts the icons are not displayed correctly if you put on top of the original version of the mod and not the one on moddb.
Ok, I update to work with your file. Thanks for the advice !
Sorry for crazy long reply, yes I'm using your mod with 33 new artifact mod, seems that mod had some undectected artifact and some artifact had unfinished properties or ridiculous low price compare to vanilla artifact price
Hello shaskar, is that any kind order to install this mod? I put exactly between artifact mod and artifact mod patch somehow this mod not working, put way up over the two then works but I lost all 33 new artifact icon, some of them reverted to russian language, does this mod conflict with something?
Hey ! Sooorry for this late answer.
I don't know what is the conflict. I tryed it with my game (few months ago) and it works, but I didn't find all artefacts.
To install it, I put my mod over the artefact mod ..
Sorry, for my english and not to have the answer.
does it work with 1.5 ?
Sorry for the late answer ..
It doesn't work with 1.5 and I don't know how make it possible.
What HUD is that?
