Call of Chernobyl is a free-play sandbox mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Call of Pripyat created by TeamEPIC. It features 32 explorable maps, reworked level design and level fixes, new original level, Trucks Cemetery, Full AI and A-Life overhaul, engine and script enhancements, Repeatable task system which bases itself on A-Life events, Customizable weather environments for every map as well as surges and psi-storms from AF3, Character creation which includes name, portrait and faction selection; Several optional modes such as Ironman mode, story mode and zombie survival mode, New achievements, rankings and reputation system, PDA leaderboard and enhanced PDA statistics, Companion system with keyboard issued commands, many optional side-features and community-made addons . I know, it's technically simpler to implement it this way, but there's no way to add certain stalkers for paid fast travel like in clear sky? For me, teleporting is a bit cheaty...

I'm pretty sure that was the system used in Call of Pripyat as well so it's definitely possible.

In cop common stalkers can "teleport" you only within a level, but in clear sky, if i recall correctly, there's special guides in
in majority of camps/bases and they can teleport you to every neutral/friendly location in game if there's no enemy(to guide's faction) bases on the way, but prices are very high, especially if guide not from actor's faction

If this is still interesting, I added a first version of a mod that allows this via the barman and a few other select NPCs. It will require some balancing however. A first version is available in the addon list if you want to check it out.

Honestly, I think paying other stalkers for teleport is an insult to the main character's intelligence after a certain point. There should be a skill or perk of some kind where you no longer need to pay for it but can find your own way as you get more experienced.

I always wanted to see some trickery with Space Bubbles and Compass as such "teleport" feature. Maybe with Oasis type of "minigame" inside Space Bubble to set "coordinates".

How do you get those green houses markers on your PDA map that show the camps? Is it an addon?

The "Enabler" enables the functionality. The functionality is there in vanilla CoC, it's just disabled by default. The green house markers are the fast travel markers.

Oops, I ask questions before downloading and installing a mod, just to make it sure it doesn't explode my setup mods/addons. I installed the mod and saw the functionality of those markers. Pretty much a must-have mod.

hello i cant get this to work ... currently new game starting in zaton i get one green house icon onlyin zaton no where else and can not click on it . i have extracted both enbler and the patch . currently using stcop weapons + patch + outfit addon + patch + consumable overhaul , smurths dyno hud + patch , absalute nature , absalute structers , few mutant packs , hd chacter models , current game works fine just no fast travel :( maybee ill try a older fast travel patch ?

Ok, first things first.

1) The fast travel system is similar to that of Elder Scrolls series, like Skyrim. You have to have visited a location FIRST on foot BY YOURSELF in order to use it as a fast travel point from that point onwards. The same was in Skyrim, at first tou couldn't fast travel anywhere without first discovering the place you wanted to fast travel to. That means that if, for example, you start in Yantar scientist's bunker and you want to fast travel to the 100Rads bar in Rostok, YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY TRAVEL THERE ON FOOT FIRST. Then a green house icon will be there too. Do that for any location and you'll have green houses in many places you can fast travel to.

2) You can't fast travel if:
a) you are irradiated
b) you are hungry
c) you are bleeding
d) you are in combat
e) you are in the vicinity of enemies outside combat

3) In order to fast travel you don't click or double click the green house in the map section of the pda. YOU RIGHT CLICK THE GREEN HOUSE AND SELECT "QUICK TRAVEL", similar to the menus in the inventory that say "drop"/"drop all"/"use". Time will pass, and if the place is in another area, the game will load that area first

4) Make sure your mentioned mods DO NOT TOUCH the smart_terrain.script file, and if they touch it by either replacing it or overwriting it, make sure to merge it manually line by line.

Is this compatible with the current 1.4.22 version + AO3?

Also, can i just install it and use it with my current safe, or do i have to make a new game? I don't wanna risk losing the progress i already made, but i really want fast travel :/

Its a bit weird that the base game has no fast travel in any shape or form, when the game world is so ******* gigantic...

Thanks for this mod.

Question: I always have the first travel mark on my map (where I spawn when I create a new game), but after hours of play, I unlocked 0 new marker, none. Do I need to do something special to unlock them?

EDIT: It works as it should. It's just that there are way too few spots in the default game. I downloaded the mod to add more, and now it's fine :)

Is there a map showing where all the quicktravel marks are? I went to the cordon loner base and didn't get a quicktravel icon which suprised me.
