BrewLAN is a mod for Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance that has been in on and off development by a team of one for almost a decade. It adds a wide variety of new units for all factions, as well as offering several new game modes and features. The core design goals for the mod are simple; to add new, interesting, and visually aesthetic units which complement those already in existence and to maximise technical compatibility with other mods.

I can never get this working :/ I dont get the shields around all buildings :(

It currently doesn't work on FAF, I'm still working on that. If you aren't running on FAF, then it is probably another mod overwriting some of its scripts. If that is the case then either list out the other mods and I'll point out any that I know to cause issues, or do the process of elimination by enabling or disabling them one at a time and seeing if it works. Enabling cheats, and using the alt-f2 spawn menu speeds this up.

With that information I will then be able to help you. Unless, as mentioned, you are on FAF in which case I'm working on it.

Since I never posted a screen shot of the Aeon Experimental Shield Projector (from the sub-mod Bubble Tea, not BrewLAN directly) actually in use I thought now would be a good time to show off the new texture for the projected shields it generates.

Look; there's so much room for activities when half your base isn't small shield generators!

Interesting things of note about the Pillar of Prominence:

It is the only Aeon shield that can completely protect the Independence Engine, the dome it projects for this task is actually bigger than the dome the Radiance produces.

Damage that would be dealt to one of the generated domes is split evenly between the shields of all of the Pillars in range. Overkill damage is split between the remaining Pillar shields recursively. If no Pillars in range have active shields then the rest of the overkill damage is dealt to the unit.
