BrewLAN is a mod for Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance that has been in on and off development by a team of one for over half a decade. It adds a wide variety of new units for all factions, as well as offering several new game modes and features. The core design goals for the mod are simple; to add new, interesting, and visually aesthetic units which complement those already in existence and to maximize technical compatibility with other mods.

Could these end up being in the main mod, this would be awesome. Plus more towers is always a plus in my book!

I could see myself adding the turret as a t1 field engineer exclusive reasonably easily. It's probably way too efficient to give to regular engineers or the ACU, but field engineers could get away with it.

The radar... Possibly could give that to the unupgraded ACU, although with different stats; its not balanced for real games... It might serve some use as a radar option before you get an engineer maybe? Not totally sold on that idea.

Semi-related; I have been considering making a separate mod which is literally just a fuckload of turrets with weapons torn off mobile units. Like the the laser from the Neptune, the grav gun from the Colossus; stuff like that. It's not something that fits with my current vision for what I want BrewLAN to be, but it is something cool.

The tiny turret and radar are unique to the tower defence game mode mod: TeaD. Available as a sub mod in the current dev build of BrewLAN. They are not in BrewLAN proper.
