This is quite the mod to pull everything together-- very useful. However I did run into a curiosity:
After some tweaking around with settings I got ONP co-op to work along with custom classes and all but the protagonist's voice no longer plays as a result of the fixes it would seem. Is there any way to fix this without forcing the ONP playerclass on all players?
I remember back in the day people would use custom classes in UT'99 ONP and it worked there so it seems odd that it isn't working here since I hear all of the ONP player-sounds and everything still.
Edit: I've discovered that the "ONPCoopMutator.ini" has a variable for enabling or disabling this feature, don't know why I didn't see that before. I'm still however having trouble getting scripted events to work with anything but basic co-op type but I suppose that's to be expected.
In Coop game, all scripted cutscenes are intentionally removed everywhere. In ONP, removal of cutsenes was implemented by the creators. The implementation of cutscenes in various campaigns typically can't work well in a multiplayer game without reprogramming, adding a support of more than one player and altering the state of players across network.
Two minor issues I found in this otherwise really great pack:
Operation Na Pali - you forgot to include the new commands (Follow and Wait). I fixed this by adding the following two lines to the SP Mapset .ini file for the mod:
Object=(Name="Speech 2 3 0",Class=Class,MetaClass=Engine.Input,Description="Operation: Na Pali,Friendly Order Follow")
Object=(Name="Speech 2 1 0",Class=Class,MetaClass=Engine.Input,Description="Operation: Na Pali,Friendly Order Wait")
That'll add the two commands to the Controls menu, ready to be bound to whatever keys you see fit (I tend to go with O and P).
Unreality: Episode One - the new AX.u file included here didn't work. I had to use the original version of it to get the mod to run past the opening map.
EDIT: Forgot to mention: I haven't tried Nali Chronicles yet, because I was never a fan of that, so don't know how well it works.
