Bloodlines Revival Teaser

This is the showcase for the currently developed project, Bloodlines Revival. The purpose for porting the game into the latest Source engine branch, giving full development over it, adding possibilities to release custom content, such as new maps and models, and more.

This trailer is old, it showcases the maps currently looking in the Source 2007 engine. There isn't much to see at the moment, but I hope you like it, if you haven't seen it yet.

For those who are wondering why it takes that long, the main reason is that I halted working on the maps for a moment now, the main reason is that Daedalus, the main project leader, have been very busy lately because of his job. In meanwhile, I've been started learning coding.
The mod suffers from an active coder, and it's the main reason why it's development is extremely slow. The mod needs a dedicated coder, to get the main core written, such as the weapons, melee attacks, Python integration. If you are qualified for all these, it would be really appreciated, both by us and the Bloodlines community.

More coming soon, so please come back and check us from time to time. :)

Nice, do you need Bloodlines for this?

There's plenty of modders for HL2, I'm sure you'll get one easily with proper advertising.

Yeah guys, I love this game, I made a thread on Guru3D about it.

Forums.guru3d.com

If you guys team up with the Unofficial patch guys, and put it on the Orange Box, with the fixes, and restored content, along with the High Def pack...

We could make this a modern day game.

Classic, this game has the best atmospehre.

That's some good mapping. Great use of materials and specular maps. Some things are a bit too shiny maybe. It looks good, even though it's in the "old" Source engine.

Any idea who owns the rights to the game now?
And if they or ex-troika would release the source code for the game if petitioned?

Just what I thought myself.
I would really love to play Bloodlines again in the latest source engine, but from what I read its a HL2 mod and just porting all the content - which would make the game free to play (if you have a SourceEngine game of course) - could be an issue.

Still hope you get this done, though.
