Blood Will Tell is a total conversion modification for the game Max Payne 2 : The Fall of Max Payne. Development on the project started in the summer of 2004, heavily inspired by motion pictures, books and thoughts with only one goal in mind; to create a true horror survival experience on the Max Payne 2 engine. However, development on the project stopped late 2006 due a revamp of the project on the Source engine (Half-Life 2). But in time it became clear that Blood Will Tell was not designed for the Source engine. Instead of trying to realize impossible ambitions on the source engine, the switch back to Max Payne 2 was easily made, bringing along a lot of new content and a whole new story.
Blood Will Tell tells the story of Ray Walker, who wakes up in a abandoned apartment building only to discover that a new kind of terror emerged. With a little amount of time, Ray begins a dreadful journey that becomes more difficult with each step he takes. Shivers will be send down the player’s spines when they follow Ray on his journey for answers and revenge, and lead him trough intense situations. Will Ray survive the mutant-menace?

After months of drawing, modelling, tweaking and skinning, Blood Will Tell's protagonist is finished! Finally the mod has been given a face and the team is very happy with the result. Ray is the lovechild of Cypress (who drawed and textured him) and Anderson (who modelled and rigged him), two veteran modders.
A few weeks ago, viewers could find a sneakpeak of Ray in our gallery. But after today, they will find a high quality, ingame screenshot! Plus, for our fans a nice wallpaper of Ray which will be online for a limited period of time, so grab it while you can!
Read about a little update to notify our fans that Blood Will tell is back in development.
