Maybe because they weren't engaged in active combat against the Germans nearly as long as the British empire was. Over the course of both world wars, the Brits and Jerries have gotten to respect each other's capabilities, and became arch enemies if you will. This is simply not the case with the Americans as they only began to prove themselves as warriors in the last year or so of WW2 (against the Germans at least) :P

The US have fought the Germans ever since 1942, in North Africa.

-1944 France
-1945 West Germany
They also fought them all across the North Atlantic.

But yes, the Brits and Germans had great respect for one another's capabilities, especially Navy wise.

AAAAND Africa corps was a secondary force in Africa cuz forces were in Russia+Britain got new tanks and **** tons of supplies from America, Africa corps were later attacked from front and back by America, Britain cant do **** alone

PROKILLER 16 (16 is maybe your brain age) brits were **** and the only thing they did is hiding on the island and bombard german civillians... + they won in north afrika when americans sent +300 sherman tanks, fuel and all kind of supplies and ofc man power- hundreds thousand men reinfosments... germans fought the whole world and almost won- almost thanks to hitler, who is a big motivator and lider but poor tactician
