BFP is one of the most creative and highly played mods available, so a sequal is only natural, I have nothing to do with this mod and just wished to share it with the rest of Moddb on behalf of the Bid For Power 2 team. I would also like everyone to know that this is a STAND ALONE GAME AND NOT A MODIFICATION, which will not stop at the fast Deathmatch action of the original but break into a Story mode as well. This is a game created by the members of the original BFP, and they are using technology provided by SmartBomb Interactive for help creating a custom game engine with modern day graphics. I will update whenever the site does so, ENJOY!

I always wondered what happened to this project.
Alright you guys lets face it. Chances are everybody has jobs and real life now they don't have time for BFP 2.
I run a BFP 1.2 with RO_DBZ_Pack_1 that's it. I am a Fan of the Uncut version of DragonBall Z, I will admit the cartoon network DUB of DBZ was childish. But those of you playing BFP for DBZ should go find English bid for power. It'll take some searching, but you'll find it, I did. But don't complain to the people that actually played BFP 1.2 about not having DBZ characters, and don't bitch at me about my server booting you. Steelwarriors.jconserv.net for information.
I'll try to get ahold of Rodney, like the rest of you. Maybe he's getting paid for his skills now, and will resurface soon. Chances are he vanished because of everyone emailing him regarding BFP 2.

Holy Sh!t... I loved the Original BFP. I actually still play it with people. (On lan) I have both the DBZ english version, and the one that changed after the dumbasses that owned it. Banpai or something.... Tried to sue them. I prefer the post-sueing version, and keep the dbz version cuz its so damned hard to find. (I collect rare software.) BFP2 has some f*cking potential. Whoever their concept artist is, he/she is the ****. If they decided to SELL this mod, I would F*CKING buy it. But they (So far) Are making it for free. Damn this looks awesome. Keep up the good work guys. Cannot wait for this to come out.

no time for bfp2? so the great models were made for nothing? and so is BFP2? too bad, i would've like to see and play such awesome game
no offense, but the team has done much and now it just is dead as far as i can see, because everyone needs reallife, but now it won't get any further while so much work has been done
i hope that he might change his mind and try to get some time for bfp2 if possible
ok, "br04589" your a complete moron only the retarded kids that watch the damn show are so into something so dumb..and ask about the freakin show..If your going to want dbz character your going to have to let the players with the talent do so, the pure game is all I want. I however enjoy the quality and work that the bfp team puts into such a product. It would be wise for you to realise this.
