This fixes the problem with the lightning effect. Simply unzip it into the baseq3 folder of your Chili Quake XXL installation.
Chili Quake XXL is dead.
Note to the Installation: You have to install Chili Quake XXL in an own directory (e.g. C:\Programs\Chil Quake XXL), and then you must copy the pak0.pk3 file from your previous original Q3 installation in the baseq3 folder there. PS: You will need a realy strong computer to play it smoothly ;) Note: You MUST have a 3D accelerator wich supports Pixel-Shader. If you have problems starting it, try to start it with "+set r_ext_framebuffer_object 0"...

This Mod is a High Definition Graphics Update for Id Softwares Quake 3 Arena.
It utilizes the evolution q3 engine and supports fragment and vertex shaders.
New models, new textures, and new shaders are also included.
