It looks ok to me
But I am surprised that you made accessible whole city
I would actually made only one side of river as city scene and other bank would be just as props to give it that really huge city look
You can also use some 3d models from free libraries

Yeah, that would have been a decent option. However I kinda wanted it to be like that especially. So players could literally walk around the big city. However the performance will tell if it was the right call. If it ends up being to laggy I might just change it like you suggested to a more performance friendly setting.

Even tho this scene looks amazing, it's a waste of time. Don't get me wrong, i love it, but 99% of the players will use the quick menu instead of entering the city and searching for tavern, merchant, etc.

same here! xD the only time i use quick menu is when i leave the town, just right outside the gate. xD im here for the heavy roleplay element of the game.

Could well be however the progress of making it was an sweet occipation for myself. And if I can make some people happy with that then its great!

The boats that are in, are to big to be placed in such a river.

No, it won't it actually will only display a small part of the wall. Otherwise performance wise it would be either laggy or just unplayable.

Description

Here the last WIP picture for rome that I'll be previewing. Now the "center" of the city rome is roughly done. Still need to do the ai-mesh and various details before I can start off with the siege scenes for the city!

Note - There is no colosseum. Simply because it would take way to many props to build as I have no single prop for it so it would have to be made from scratch. Something the scene simply can't handle anymore. Though the arena of the city will most likely get a proper arena - colosseum a-like!
