Information, please read!Hey there! Great that you downloaded the newest version of the still in early progress mod; Bellum Imperii!
First of all, I have to appology for the long wait. Simply put, life can be a bitch. Making me work on this mod only small bits at the time.
Eitherway, now to the point. The major patch! As you can see below there is a full list of changes. But before you start reading them, and start with playing the game. Know this. Because of the minimal time I spend on working on this mod. The overall time of release would be just way to far off.
For that reason, I pretty much stick to the Alpha-phase/testing - idea. In other words, there is still a whole lot to be done, and fixed to get this mod to a proper status.Therefor, there will be enough weird stuff that you will encounter during your first gameplay hours. What you do with this? Report it in! So it will be easier for me to adjust the matter.Other things you can take into account that will obviously need more work.- Characters, (names/equipment/stats/faces)- Parties, - Party sizes,- 2d designs/banners/faction banners,- Scenery.- Beginner quests,- And changing all the features Brytenwalda brought along that have to be adjusted accordinly. Like the religion system, with it's main focus on christianity.- Countless of dialogs that will be out of line. - The huge size of the module. (+2GB!) will obviously as much optimized as possible. In time. By getting rid of a lot of Brytenwalda resources. So when you encounter these things, don't worry. There will be worked on. But it will take additional time. How long this will take I can not tell at this point. For that simple reason, I released what I have now. Which is providing a much better gameplay then the previous patch 0.3 with all it's verry annoying bugs.Changelog 0,4 - 24 Factions- 7 different troop trees. (For the time being)- 42 Towns, 69 "Forts" and 212 Villages (Majority missing proper scenes)- New Graphical designs.- A couple of new scene designs, for towns like Neapolis, Marseille and Londinium.- Adjusted stats. And more!Features brought in with Brytenwalda full list can be found: Forums.taleworlds.com New Religion system- New system of character creation.- Height system- New menus in reports- Custom player party name- New Icons- Realistic Tactics and formations system with: Scildweall (shieldwall), ranks, square, and Wedge formations. Give orders to your troops integrate with key F4.- Wound system: If you fall in a battle, you can be wounded. There are many different injuries, from the mild to those that make you lose skill points.- Bridge Battles: you and your troops will fight the enemy on a bridge if you were near a bridge on the world map.- Weapon breaking - your weapon can break in battle now!..- Orders system: Formations ordes, Skirmish mode, Volley fire for archers, and Weapon type switch.- Shield Bash.- Optional Gore: Decapitation, blood loss, and legshot impact.- Spear Bracing.- Expaned Horizonts mod. - Fatigue/stamina system (optional)- Bounty system- Diplomacy Mod- Sea Travel- Naval Warfare.- Expanded Dialog system kit- New Buildings- Gambling Item System in Taverns.- Player can have children.- Seafaring.- Judge.- Moneylenders and landowners.- Freelancers mod.- You can build forts and outposts.- Messaging system- Camp Entrechment.- Custom lord notes.- Ability to kill Lords permanently in-game if you have taken them prisioner. And much more!
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssss !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
**** YEAH, update i love it!!!
I tried out the new version 4 today and couldn't get past the first scene where you have to fight the bandit before meeting with the merchant dude. I killed the bandit and then another dude came running out. I assumed it was the merchant but this new dude attacked me so I had to kill him. I waited and looked around but no merchant and no way to get off the level without quitting the game.
